We are thrilled to announce the incredible success of today's 'Give it a Try' event, with over 100 new sign ups! The event saw a fantastic turnout, as the kids were introduced to the excitement of rugby through fun and engaging activities. We are beyond excited to welcome so many new faces to the club and we hope to see them all back next week!

A special thanks to our CCROs, who did an amazing job promoting the event by visiting local primary schools. Their efforts in encouraging children to give rugby a try have clearly paid off, as the enthusiasm and energy at today's event were palpable.

We would also like to extend our gratitude to our dedicated coaches, who played an important role in making the day memorable. Their ability to introduce rugby in such a fun and approachable way was key to getting the kids excited about the sport.

Of course, no event would be complete without a special appearance from Leinster’s beloved mascot, Leo the Lion. Thank you Leo, for taking time out of your busy schedule to join us and bring even more joy to the day.

The success of today's event is a great sign of things to come for Portarlington Rugby Club. We are looking forward to seeing these new players grow in their love for rugby and become part of our rugby family.
