The senior ladies team travelled to terenure on sunday and put in another solid performance against a physical cym side
The falcons who are second in the table got off to a strong start and after 10 min got the try they deserved with orla o donovan crossing the line to finish under the posts and converted by hanah mulcahy
The falcons were playing a quick pressing game and scored again when scrum half kate tynan scored after 20 min and Hannah mulcahy once again converted
Then just before half time Vivienne Keary crossed leaving the falcons with a strong lead at half-time leading 0-21
The second half started with cym kicking for territory when possible but a strong performance from aoife murphy at full back kept the falcons pressing
After 57 min the falcons got what they deserved when sarah mcloughlin scored in the corner to make it 0-26
The falcons kept the pressure on through a man of the match display from andrea broughan and on 70 min crossed the line again with amxy Dempsey scoring her first ever try for the falcons
All in all it was a solid team performance with many girls putting in excellent performances
