In what was an intense and physical encounter, Tullow displayed their dominance over Port Dara Falcons to secure a comprehensive 43-15 victory in the Paul Flood Cup. Despite the valiant efforts of the Falcons, Tullow's experience and physicality proved too much for the Division 2 team.
Tullow's superior Division 1 experience was evident from the outset, as they stormed out of the blocks to score three tries within the first 15 minutes of the game. This established a dominant position for Tullow, and despite the Falcons' efforts to fight back, they found themselves 31-5 down at halftime.
Credit must be given to Port Dara Falcons for their resilience in the face of adversity. Despite the tough conditions on the day (Hot- Hot- Hot), they refused to give up and continued to fight hard throughout the game. They were eventually rewarded for their efforts when they worked the blindside to score a try in the corner.
In the second half, the Falcons doubled down on their efforts and kept pushing hard against Tullow. Although Tullow continued to dominate possession and territory, the Falcons managed to take advantage of a few opportunities to work the Tullow defence and put two more tries on the scoreboard.

Overall, it was a tough day at the office for Port Dara Falcons, who were outmatched by a superior Tullow team. However, the Falcons can take solace in the fact that they never gave up and continued to fight until the final whistle. A big thank you must go out to the entire squad for their efforts throughout the season, as they worked hard to turn things around and make this seasons campaign a success.
